The Resuscitation Council (UK) recommends that: “Staff should undergo regular training in the management of Medical emergencies at a level appropriate to their expected clinical responsibilities”. This one-day training package is delivered in your practice or at our venue. This course is aimed at all Dental Practitioners and Dental Care Professionals.
The content can be tailored to suit your particular requirements such as the use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). It is delivered in a way that makes the training enjoyable and easy to remember.
There is no learner assessment, however there will be a continuous evaluation throughout the training and all learners who have reached the required standard will be issued with a certificate in Emergency First Aid for Dental Professionals which is valid for 12 Months and states 3 CPD hours.
This course can take up to 12 learners and any venue should have adequate room for the practice of First Aid training such as CPR and recovery position any emergency equipment should be made available on the day of the training.
The Resuscitation Council (UK) has strongly recommended that Dental professionals attend annual training lasting approximately 3 hours this is not compulsory but is recommended.
