First Person On Scene Course | Intermediate

Our cost for individual learners or Open courses is £400.00 plus VAT for AoFA course.

The new AoFA Level 3 Award in the First Person on Scene Intermediate is an up to date qualification underpinned by current practice. It provides learners with the knowledge and life savings skills to assess, manage and treat a patient in a trauma and/or medical emergency and to stabilise the patient for up to forty minutes before the ambulance or pre-hospital care providers arrive.

We can deliver the Level 4 FPOS Certificate through Pearson Edexcel  which is 77 contact hours or the Level 3 Award First Person On Scene Intermediate through the Association of First Aiders (AoFA) which is 30 hours both are recognised by SIA.

The qualification is regulated by the government department Ofqual and is clinically endorsed by the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh, Faculty of Pre-Hospital (FPHC) Care and meets the Level 3 FPHC Pre-Hospital Emergency Medicine Skills Framework. It is further approved by the Association of First Aiders. On completion of the qualification, the learner will be eligible to apply to the Faculty of Pre Hospital Care for Level 3 membership.

NDFA Training organise First Person On Scene Intermediate courses every month at our training venue near Belfast, Northern Ireland. The course meets the minimum requirement for the SIA.

Ideal for those wishing to work in Close Protection (CP) or for anyone who wishes to have a more in-depth knowledge of First Aid and pre Hospital treatment.  Our all inclusive price is not to be missed, all our trainers come from Medical backgrounds and for this you are getting quality Pre Hospital training.

There are very reasonable bed & breakfasts close to us, should you require accommodation please contact us for details. We are generally a 5 minute walk from these.

There is NO pre Entry requirement for this course.

Assessment is a Multiple Choice question paper and practical assessment by an approved assessor, all those who have reached the required standard will be issued with a Certificate which is valid for 3 years.

There are 3 qualifications for each has its own entry requirement. There is an option If the delegate wishes to take additional skills with each qualification to meet their requirements.

Our all in cost per delegate for First Person On Scene Intermediate is £400.00, this includes a Manual and assessment by an independent examiner and Certification.
