Our Manual Handling training courses are aimed at giving those the understanding on how to manage the work and minimise their manual handling risks and reduce chances of injury. This course is more of Back care and the impact of accumulative stress or lifestyle our main focus is on the areas of how injuries happen and their causes.

This course gives the learner the knowledge to make corrective changes for themselves. Giving them the inspiration to make changes to their approach to managing their backs which will produce better results in the long run. So this is NOT a ’keep your back straight and lift with the legs’ course

• Aims

An understanding of how manual handling injuries are caused, the type of injuries involved, the risk factors that give rise to them.

• Course duration

Approx two and a half hours in duration for both open and closed courses

• Suitability

This course is suitable for all that require Manual Handling as part of their work, no previous Health and Safety knowledge required to attend

£45.00 plus VAT per learner
